Katherine Mary Knight is the first Australian woman to be sentenced to life without parole. She was convicted of the murder of her partner, John Price, in October 2001. Thought to be retaliation for ending their relationship, she stabbed him to death and then skinned him, hanging his skin on a meat hook. She then cooked his head and parts of his body, and placed them together with vegetables on plates with place cards with his children’s/family members’ names.
On October 2, 1998 Greg Witman is 13 years old. He is getting off the school bus and coming home where his 15 year old brother Zach is home sick for the day.
But that day, tragedy would strike and throw the brothers’ seemingly close-knit relationship into question. As Greg arrives home from school and enters his home using the key that his brother hung inside the storm door of the home, he is brutally murdered, suffering over 100 stab wounds- mainly to the neck and head area. Just after 9 p.m. on Aug. 3,1989 28 year old Lawrence (Larry) DeLisle were driving their children to see the boats at the Detroit River when the car went catapulting into the water. Larry and Suzanne were able to escape the car through open windows, but their four children tragically drowned inside the car.
DeLisle told police he had a leg cramp that forced his foot down on the gas pedal which then caused the accelerator to stick. Is this a tragic accident or an excuse to cover the purposeful attempt at taking his own life and killing his family?

His execution (which was performed at his own request) on January 5, 1993 was the first legal hanging in the United States since 1965.
